Finally! midweek…this week has been so jammed pack that I feel like I haven’t had a second to breathe. Tomorrow I am going home to NY till Saturday and although I’m excited to go home…all I want to do is sit still! I keep reminding myself that I only have 3 actual law school classes left before I graduate…and that’s keeping me motivated.
I spoke to one of my best friends last night for a few hours who is contemplating making a big move. We discussed the pros and cons, and after all was said and done, I am fully supportive of this next chapter of her life. I think staying still for too long breeds contentment…and that if possible, we should have as many adventures as we can in life before we need to settle down. As nervous as I was to move to Maine for law school, I’m so happy I did it because it’s just another place I’ve gotten to live in my life, with a new culture and people and I am just so grateful for the time I have spent here. Because of this, I found some travel/moving/general nomad inspiration that I think really incapsulates this idea of adventure and new steps.
